G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

G.I. Joe: the Rise of Cobra is a 2009 American live-action film adaptation of the G.I. Joe toy franchise, with particular inspiration on the comic book G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. The film is directed by Stephen Sommers, produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura and co-written by Stuart Beattie, based on a 1998 screenplay by John Paul Kay. G.I. Joe features an ensemble cast based on the various characters of the franchise. The story follows two American soldiers, Duke and Ripcord, who join the G.I. Joe Team after being attacked by MARS troops.
After leaked drafts of the script were criticized by fans, Larry Hama, writer of the comic, was hired as creative consultant and rewrites were made. Filming took place in Downey, California and Prague's Barrandov Studios, and six different companies handled the visual effects. The film was released through August 5 to 7, 2009 worldwide, following an extensive marketing campaign focused on the Mid-American public. The film received mixed reviews but opened at the top of the box office, grossing over $301 million worldwide. A sequel is being planned.

Plot : In the near future, weapons expert James McCullen (Christopher Eccleston) has created a nanotechnology-based weapon capable of destroying an entire city. His company M.A.R.S. sells four warheads to NATO, and NATO troops are tasked with delivering the warheads. Duke (Channing Tatum) and Ripcord (Marlon Wayans) are delivering the warheads when they are ambushed by the Baroness (Sienna Miller), whom Duke recognizes to be his ex-fiancee Ana Lewis. Duke and Ripcord are rescued by Scarlett (Rachel Nichols), Snake Eyes (Ray Park), Breaker (Saïd Taghmaoui) and Heavy Duty (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje). They take the warheads to the Pit, G.I. Joe's command center in North Africa, and upon arriving rendezvous with the head of the G.I. Joe Team, General Hawk (Dennis Quaid). Hawk takes command of the warheads and excuses Duke and Ripcord, only to be convinced to let them join his group after Duke reveals that he knows the Baroness.

McCullen is revealed to be using the same nanotechnology to build an army of soldiers with the aid of the Doctor (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), planning on using the warheads to cause panic and bring about a new world order. Using a tracking device, McCullen locates the G.I. Joe base and sends Storm Shadow (Lee Byung-hun) and the Baroness to retrieve the warheads with assistance from Zartan (Arnold Vosloo). After a fight, Storm Shadow and the Baroness retrieve the warheads and take them to Baron DeCobray, the Baroness's husband, for him to weaponize. Making their way to Paris, the Joes pursue the Baroness and Storm Shadow but are unsuccessful in stopping them from launching the missile. The nanomites destroy the Eiffel Tower and much of the surrounding area before Duke manages to hit the kill switch, but in doing so he is captured and taken to McCullen's base under the Arctic.

The Joes locate the secret base and fly there as McCullen loads three missiles with nano-mite warheads. After Snake Eyes takes out one, Ripcord pursues the remaining missiles in a stolen M.A.R.S. prototype Night Raven jet while Scarlett and her group infiltrate the base. Duke learns that the Doctor is Rex Lewis, Ana's brother believed to have been killed on a mission led by Duke. He was trapped in a bunker with Doctor Mindbender (Kevin O'Connor) and disfigured in the blast which everyone presumed had killed him. The Baroness tries to free Duke, but the Doctor reveals he has implanted her with nano-mites which has put her under his control for the past four years. Attempting to kill Duke, McCullen ends up being burned as he flees with the Doctor to an escape vessel. Duke and the Baroness pursue him while the Joes fall back when the Doctor activated the base's self destruct sequence.

The Doctor heals McCullen's burned face with nano-mites, encasing it in silver and christening McCullen "Destro", and assumes the identity of Cobra Commander. They are captured by G.I. Joe soon after. On the supercarrier USS Flagg, the Baroness is placed in protective custody until they can remove the nano-mites from her body. Meanwhile, Zartan, having had his physical appearance altered by nano-mites, infiltrates the White House during the missile crisis and assumes the identity of the President of the United States (Jonathan Pryce).

How to Get Mafia Wars Energy Faster

Step 1.Start out by choosing the Maniac class when you create your Mafia Wars character. This class has a faster energy refresh time in Mafia Wars. Choosing this class in Mafia Wars will help you level up your character faster because you will be able to complete more missions per day because your energy will refill faster.

Step 2.Use reward points to fill up your energy in Mafia Wars. Each time you complete a job tier or level up your character in Mafia Wars you will earn reward points. You can go to the godfather and use your reward points in Mafia Wars to refill your energy. This will allow you to complete more missions by filling up your energy faster in Mafia Wars. You can also purchase reward points in Mafia Wars with your credit card or you can complete offers to gain more reward points so that you can use your Mafia Wars reward points more often.

How to Master Mafia Wars

The question, what we need to build a powerful mafia?. This guide will show you how to quickly achieve success in the game.

Step 1. Jobs/Investments
You'll want to do some jobs to get some money. But pretty soon, you won't have to do any jobs, because with the right investments, you can make more money letting your investments do the work for you. At that point, you'll just be doing jobs to level up. Stick to doing jobs that give you the highest payoff/energy used ratio or the highest experienced gained/energy used ratio. This will let you gain money faster or level up faster, or both.

Once you have some money, you'll want to invest it. Stick to getting the most out of your money. Mafia Mike's is the best investment you can make, so get as many as you can. After that, only buy properties with the highest return to investment ratio. Don't forget to include the land cost into this figure; once you build on land you lose the return the land gives you.

It's better to stick the money in the bank until you can put it to use later. The bank will charge you a 10% laundering fee, but that's much better than losing it all in a fight.

Once you have a stable income, you can move on to outfitting your mafia with weapons, armor, and vehicles.

Note: As you complete jobs, you will level up, and you will gain experience and Godfather points. Do not spend them without reading the section about leveling (below).

Step 2. Winning Fights
To win more attacks, outfit everyone in your mafia with the weapons, armor, and vehicles with the highest attack ratings. The higher your average attack rating per mafia member is, the better your chances are of winning the fight. Usually the best weapons are awarded from the Godfather.

To win more when you are attacked, you should also have the weapons, armor, and vehicles with the highest defense ratings. When you are being attacked, your mafia will use those items to defend instead of the attack weapons. Again, the higher your average defense rating per mafia member, the better your chances are of winning the fight.

And maybe you can see from the mafia size, just choose with small mafia size better than you. So that will increase chance you to win fights.

Step 3. Leveling
When you advance your level, you are awarded experience points and godfather points. Early in the game, focus on increasing your energy. You should do this until you can have enough energy to do most of the jobs (I recommend about 40-50 energy points). After that, focus on defense and stamina. Later in the game, you can adjust the strategy a bit to fit your needs.

Normally, you should not spend Godfather points on anything except weapons. If you wish, you can earn godfather points by completing offers or purchasing them. In the event you earn some extra godfather points, use them to boost your skill points or to get specialty weapons. The other options (like giving you cash or a full energy refill) will come in time with no interaction required by you anyway, so why spend precious godfather points on them?

Step 4. Mafia Size
You don't need a large mafia to be successful at Mafia Wars. In fact, the larger your mafia is, the harder it is to play the game, especially early in the game. When you have a large mafia, you have to outfit each member with the best weapons, armor, and vehicles you can get your hands on. This costs a large amount of money, and unless you have a very large income, it's better to just build your investments so you can afford to grow your mafia later. Once you have a large income (at least $1 million per hour), then you can start to grow your mafia. As you grow your mafia, remember to get both attack and defense items for them to use.

Mafia Size - is crucial, even if not outfitted. Large mafia only helps you. The combat formula is (Attack/Defense TIMES members) + weapons. So a 100 attack skil * 501 members = 50,100 + Weapons. All else being equal 501 members unarmed will beat 100 members armed to the teeth. The more members, the more mafia mikes you can purchase and the faster money accumulates. Plus winning wars (500 people to help from vs 50 and job assists.)

Tips & Warnings
• When you are not logged in, money that you have earned from investments since you logged out cannot be lost in a fight. However, money you have not invested or deposited in the bank can still be lost.
• If you have health below the fight threshold, you won't see when someone attacks you (and if you attack someone, they won't see it on their updates...an easy way to tell if they are too weak is to try to add them to the hitlist. If the game asks you how much money you want to spend, they are not too weak; otherwise, you will get a message telling you that you can't add them to the hitlist).

Naruto

Naruto Uzumaki is a young boy who has the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox sealed within him. Twelve years before the start of the series, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox attacked the ninja village Konohagakure, slaughtering many people. In response, the leader of Konohagakure and its ninja military – the Fourth Hokage – sacrificed his life to seal the demon inside Naruto when he was a newborn. Konohagakure, however, regarded Naruto as if he were the demon fox itself and mistreated him throughout most of his childhood. A decree made by the Third Hokage, who replaced the Fourth Hokage after his death, forbade anyone mention the attack of the demon fox to anyone. Years later, Naruto is tricked by the renegade ninja Mizuki into stealing a forbidden scroll, but is stopped by his teacher, Iruka Umino. When Iruka almost dies while protecting Naruto from Mizuki, Naruto defeats Mizuki using the power from the scroll, which develops the supernatural ability Jutsu Shadow Clone Technique that creates clones from himself. That encounter makes Naruto realize he was the container of the demon fox.

The main story follows Naruto and his friends' personal growth. Naruto befriends two comrades, Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno, who are assigned with him to form a three-person team named Team 7 under an experienced sensei named Kakashi Hatake. Like all the ninja teams from the every village, Team 7 is in charge in completing missions requested by villagers such as being bodyguards. During the course of the missions, Naruto also befriends other characters that he meets throughout the series. They learn new abilities, get to know each other and other villagers better, and experience a coming-of-age journey as Naruto dreams of becoming the Hokage of Konohagakure. After several missions, Kakashi allows Team 7 to participate into a ninja exam in which they can improve their ranks, and thus, be part of harder missions. During the exams, Orochimaru, a criminal at the top of Konohagakure's most wanted list, attacks Konoha killing the Third Hokage as an act of revenge. This causes one of the three legendary ninja, Jiraiya to search for his partner Tsunade, to become the Fifth Hokage. During that search, it is revealed that Orochimaru also desires to acquire Sasuke Uchiha due to his powerful genetic heritage. Believing Orochimaru will be able to give him the strength needed to kill his brother Itachi, who destroyed all his clan, Sasuke goes to him. Tsunade sends a group of ninja including Naruto to make Sasuke return to Konoha, but Naruto is unable to defeat him. Naruto does not give up on Sasuke, leaving Konoha for two-and-a-half years of training under Jiraiya's tuition to prepare himself for the next time he encounters Sasuke.

After the training period, a mysterious organization called Akatsuki attempts to capture the nine powerful tailed beasts including the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox sealed inside of Naruto. Several ninjas from Konohagakure, including Team 7, fight against the Akatsuki members and search for their teammate Sasuke. Although they manage to save the host from the One-tailed beast, Gaara, Akatsuki is successful in capturing seven from the creatures. Sasuke, in the meantime betrays Orochimaru and faces Itachi to take revenge. Although Itachi dies in battle, Sasuke is later told by the Akatsuki founder Madara Uchiha that Itachi was ordered by Konohagakure's leadership to destroy his clan. Saddened with the revelation, Sasuke joins forces with Akatsuki to destroy Konohagakure. Meanwhile, as several Akatsuki members are defeated by the Konohagakure ninja, the leader, Pain, invades the village to capture Naruto. However, Naruto defeats all of Pain's bodies and convinces the real one to leave. While the villagers rebuild Konohagakure Tsunade is dismissed from her position as the Hokage as she ended in coma for using all her energy to protect the villagers from Pain. Therefore, the elder Danzo quickly takes the role.

The Incredible Hulk

Plot: David Banner is a genetics researcher who experiments on himself, trying to improve human DNA. Once his wife gives birth to their son Bruce, David realizes his mutant DNA has been passed on and attempts to find a cure for his son's condition. The government, represented by Lieutenant Colonel "Thunderbolt" Ross, shuts down his research after learning of his dangerous experiments. David, in a fit of rage, causes a massive explosion of the facilities' gamma reactor, and accidentally kills his wife. He is then put into a mental hospital, while 4-year-old Bruce is sent into foster care and adopted, taking on the last name of Krenzler, believing his biological parents are deceased. The events surrounding his mother's death leave Bruce unable to recall details of his early childhood.
Years later, Bruce is a brilliant researcher freshly graduated at the University of California, Berkeley. The military-industrial complex, represented by the unscrupulous Major Talbot, becomes interested in the research to build regenerating soldiers. David reappears and begins infiltrating Bruce's life, working as a janitor in the lab building. Ross, now an Army general, also begins to investigate. Ross, the estranged father of Bruce's ex-girlfriend and co-researcher Betty Ross, becomes concerned both for his daughter's safety around Bruce, but also because Bruce is working in the same field as the father he does not remember.
Bruce succumbs to a scientific experiment accident. Afterwards, Bruce is seen sitting in a hospital bed telling Betty that he's never felt better, which she can't fathom due to the fact that the nanomeds have killed everything else they've touched. The radiation has intertwined with Bruce's already-altered DNA. That night, his father confronts him, revealing their relationship and hinting at the mutation inside Bruce. Using Bruce's DNA, he begins experimentation on animals. Soon after, the building rage within Bruce stemming from all of the stresses building up around him activates his gamma-radiated DNA, transforming him into the Hulk.
After the destruction at the lab, Bruce is found unconscious and at home by Betty. Bruce barely remembers his transformation, a sensation similar to birth. Ross arrives, suspicious, and places him under house arrest as well as taking over Bruce and Betty's lab. That night, David phones Bruce and tells him he has unleashed three mutant dogs to Betty's house. Enraged and attacked by Talbot, Bruce transforms again and, after seriously injuring Talbot and the guards, fights and kills all three dogs and saves Betty. The next morning, Bruce is tranquilized and taken to an enormous underground base in the desert. Betty tries to convince her father to allow her to attempt to help Bruce control his transformations, but Ross remains extremely skeptical, believing Bruce is "damned" to follow in his father's footsteps. In the meantime, David breaks into the lab and subjects himself to the nanomeds and the gammasphere, gaining the ability to meld with and absorb the properties of anything he can touch.
Talbot, seeing an opportunity to profit from the Hulk's strength and regenerative capability, attacks and taunts Bruce, but fails. Talbot puts him in a sensory deprivation tank and induces a nightmare that triggers his repressed memories and transforms him into the Hulk, eventually leading to the death of Talbot. David confronts Betty and offers to turn himself in. In exchange, he asks to speak to Bruce "one last time." The Hulk escapes the base in the process. He battles the army in the desert, defeating four tanks and two Comanche Helicopters, and leaps all the way to San Francisco to find Betty again. Betty contacts her father and convinces him to take her to meet the Hulk, believing that he needs "a chance to calm down." Bruce's love for her comes through the Hulk, and he transforms back into his human form. David is allowed to visit the base and talk to Bruce. David, having descended into megalomania, fails to convince Bruce to give him his power. David transforms into a powerful electrical being after biting into a wire and absorbing the energy. Bruce then transforms into the Hulk and battles his father. Both are presumed dead after Ross orders a Gamma Charge Bomb to end the fight, leaving no trace of them. A year later there have still been numerous sightings of the Hulk. Bruce finds exile in the Amazon Rainforest as a doctor in a medical camp. Some soldiers then try to steal some medical supplies from the camp he has received refuge from, they begin to abuse the people around him and he begins to get angry. The film ends with Bruce Banner saying his famous line "you won't like me when I'm angry" in Spanish with his eyes turning green, and a loud roar can be heard.
